I am sitting on the couch typing away after a great dinner out of pizza, the house feels very quiet tonight as Ben Oakley has Left us as the british team has now arrived. Although I think he already misses us which is entirely understandable.

It has been another typical day in Val d' isere, tough lake session this morning Followed by large amounts of lazing around enjoying the warm day. This afternoon Stew and I took Kristy down the classic course for the first time, I always forget how hard it is to paddle down the river at slow pace.

I feel like I am feeling comfortable on the river, and I seem to have some pace on the flat, so the next few days is a matter of rest and consolidation on the river. I will start paddling my race boat on Thursday just to become comfortable in it as no matter how much you try to make the set up the same boats always feel different. 

I will try to put up some video in the next day or so when I can steel some faster Internet off the British team, the Internet we a using at the tourist bureau doesn't have nigh bandwidth.
