Well this is the second time i have written this post, thanks for being a retard and sabotaging me Ben oakley!

Well after a massive mission on monday we are finally in Slovenia after driving across what feels like half of europe, and when you look at the distances would be like driving from melbourne to perth almost non stop. Well almost.The highlight of the drive was the few hours that we drove allong the coast near Monacco. I am now travelling with the british team as most of the Australians have gone home and Ben is off being an Austrian again.

We have now done a few runs down the river and i sort of know where to be most of the time now, i am now remembering why i enjoyed paddling here so much last time. The water on the river is a bright blue colour, the river is full of white boulders that you pick a way through. I am really enjoying this as I am more certain of where i need to be it feels like i am carving down the course. My boat feels much happier here than it did at times at Sort.
The river has been very misty for the last two days, which makes it hard to read the water as it is hard to see 100m in front of you. There have been a few Gorrillas in the mist moments where the people who are only a short way in front are dissapering into the mist.

I am really looking forward to the rest of the weeks paddling here and think that i can potentially have a very good race here.
