Sondrio

The last couple of days have been fun in sondrio, I ahve enjoyed paddling on the river and have got a lot out of hangings round with the Brits, we have done a lot of video work on the sprint course, which has been good. I am not really sure how the weekend is going to go, I feel ok on the water but don't feel sensational, my chest is still pretty shitty which is frustrating but I am just going to stay controlled and strong in the rapids tomoorrow and try to pull as hard as I can in between and at the end and hopefully find myself a good result..

We have just got back from the opening ceremony where I had to lend the organisers my Australian flag for the march!!! Pretty funny, ben and I seemed to get a lot of cheers which is always nice:) as per usual we had to sit through a number of speeches in Italian and English... However the night did redeem  itslef with fire works show on tbe river, mother nature three in her part as well with a some lightning which added to the whole experience, the pooring rain however was not so good... The rain shouldt affect the river level.. But you never really know.

I am off pretty early so hopefully I will be on the top off the leaders board for a fair while. Race time is 2pm european time so 10pm australian time.. I am sure this will be the highlight of everyones Saturday night!!!
