Today was a rest day so rather than hang around all day in sort we pulled the inflatable roof racks of the peugot and went for a lazy drive to Andorra.. I have never been to Andorra and it was another oportunity to collect a stamp for my new passport and make it look a little more used.

On an aside the Spanish border guards at barcelona airport told me that the australian pasport is the most "beautiful" pasport in the world... I must admit they did have me worried when two of them spent 5 mins studying mine..

Andorra is essentially in a valley betwen Spain and France, it is Rather like an interbational airport shopping area, full of duty free shops, without the tired travellers and constant pa amnouncements, bizarely there was also a very large number of motorbike and motorbike gear shops..
Whilst wondering we came across a crazy personnel protection shop. Matt and I briefly entertained the idea of purchasing oursleves an automatic assualt rifle and body armour and night bison googles, but discarded the idea as we would never be able to take the gear home and robbing banks isn't really our style.

I spent the late afternoon walking the rapids in the upper section attempting to fix things in my mind.

Tomorrow it is time to get back on the river and keep learning the course. I may race the Spanish selction race in Saturday if I am feeling ok on the water and the jetlag has calmed down a bit more..

The photo is of me overlooking the township of sort with the mountains in the background
